The Exhibit
'Rich Entel's Cardboard Menagerie' consists of nine animals. The "Menagerie" has been shown at the Maine Jewish Museum, November 6, 2015 through January, 2016, and at the Dunedin Center of Fine Art in Florida from January 17, 2016 through March 1, 2016. The exhibit is now at the Mariposa Museum in Peterborough, New Hampshire from March 18, 2016 to May 30, 2016.
The Artist
Rich Entel, M.D. of Portland, Maine, was selected for the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and was an artist-in-residence at the MacDowell Colony. His work has been included in a Portland Museum of Art Biennial. He is an alumnus of Dartmouth College and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.

Currently (2023)
Six Sculptures from the Cardboard Menagerie have been installed at Palaver Music Center in Portland, Maine starting in 2023. Palaver Music Center (PMC) is Palaver Strings' joyful new teaching and rehearsal space on Cumberland Ave in Portland. Its goal is to "generate a love of music, foster creativity, and hold space for dialogue between people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in Portland." Educational programs at PMC provide instruction in violin, viola, and cello to students in pre-K through third grade.
